You need a friend's help for this one. Have the friend over in your room. Go to your dock and click and drag the item you want to duplicate. As you are holding the item with the click have your friend enter your room. Then close your browser window. Wait two hours, maybe go outside and get away from the computer for a while. when you log back in the item should be both in your room and in in your dock.
